Comedy and iO Chicago's The Reckoning at the National College Comedy Festival at Skidmore College. Our show is essentially a montage starting from a monologue initiation where we loosely focus on second beats and tying together the various scenes. Our greatest stength is our character work- our characters are generally diverse and we put a lot of energy into them. We have also worked hard to make intelligent connections, and in the past year have improved drastically in finding the game of each scene. 	"extra_info" => "The Whistling Shrimp are a 24 year old group, focusing on longform in the past 3 or so years. The director, Mark Vigeant, has received level 201 training at the UCB theatre in New York (with Kate Spencer and Eric Tanouye) and in the past year the group has received workshops from Derrick! Comedy and iO Chicago's The Reckoning at the National College Comedy Festival at Skidmore College. Our show is essentially a montage starting from a monologue initiation where we loosely focus on second beats and tying together the various scenes. Our greatest stength is our character work- our characters are generally diverse and we put a lot of energy into them. We have also worked hard to make intelligent connections, and in the past year have improved drastically in finding the game of each scene. In the past 2 years we've performed all over our campus, as well as at the National College Comedy Festival at Skidmore '08, '09, ImprovBoston's Beanpot festival in '08, and the Del Close Marathon Last summer.",
