In addition to The Second City Unhinged Series and iO, BoxCo has performed at Donny’s Skybox and the annual Snapshots Festival of women’s plays (EP Theater and Strawdog Theatre). Kate Cohen, also an alum of the Second City box office, joined BoxCo in 2007. 	"extra_info" => "BoxCo was founded by four ladies who worked in The Second City box office in Chicago. BoxCo is Kate Cohen, Lauren Van Kurin, Alison Weiss and musical genius Mike Przygoda. BoxCo was created by founding members Anne M. Gardner, Elizabeth England, Lauren Van Kurin and Alison Weiss. 

With musical direction by Mike Przygoda and direction by Sarah Haskins, BoxCo made its debut at The Second City Unhinged Series in 2006. They went on to perform at iO’s Del Close Theater, as well as various other theatres and festivals around town. 

BoxCo takes a multi-disciplinary approach, using music, movement and monologues to create a unique show that keeps audiences laughing and cheering.  Musical Director Mike Przygoda plays live drums in addition to piano, peppering the show with high-energy beats and sound effects. In addition to The Second City Unhinged Series and iO, BoxCo has performed at Donny’s Skybox and the annual Snapshots Festival of women’s plays (EP Theater and Strawdog Theatre). Kate Cohen, also an alum of the Second City box office, joined BoxCo in 2007. Members of BoxCo have studied and performed at Chicago venues such as: The Annoyance Theatre, The Second City, iO Theater, Comedy Sportz, The Playground, pH Productions, Baby Wants Candy, The Apollo Theatre, The Side Project, Live Bait Theatre, Lakeshore Theatre, Goodbar, Barrel of Monkeys and the Neo- Futurists. New York Venues include:  Ensemble Studio Theatre, HERE Arts Center -and the New York Fringe Festival (2008).
