Midnight Society

What:
Midnight Society is a monster and Coldtowne Theater is their Frankenstein. Two years ago, the theater's instructors took a group of students and turned it into a troupe of improvisors. Midnight Society, however, is not your typical student troupe. Midnight Society, voted Best Improv Troupe in Austin by the Austin American-Statesmen's A-List Poll, is a blind date that worked. Made up of stand up and sketch comedians, filmmakers, musicians, and writers, Midnight Society was also named the Best New Troupe of 2007 by the Austin Improv Collective. The ensemble's past festival experience includes the 10th Del Close Marathon in New York City, the Dirty South Improv Festival in Carrboro, NC, and Out of Bounds in Austin.
